SportZu.tv was initially created in 2007 by a team of international and domestic Drupal developers. Each developer was specialized in their own field of expertise. There was a project manager, theme developer, video system developer and JavaScript expert. I was new to Drupal and was added to the team just prior to it's release as a content manager, search engine optimization expert and server administrator. During my short time on the project, I cleaned up some of the CSS and theme problems, added Google Analytics, the forum, advertisement system and helped with debugging. I also moved the site a couple times to different hosting environments and provided training.
The site has consistently been getting the same amount of traffic since it's launch in 2008. At this point it seems to be mostly abandoned and filling with spam posts in the blog, forum and video channel sections. But in it's heyday, there was a team of video production people, content managers, marketing people and Drupal developers focused on the site and business development.
Over-all this was a great learning experience for everyone involved and helped forge a few relationships and projects within the Drupal community.
