BierstadtBooks.com was created using Drupal 7. The graphics were chosen and created to reflect the brand of the coffee shop book store located in beautiful Georgetown Colorado. The site provides a functionality for visitors to share content using social media, contact the business form, collect newsletter registrations, find the business location and browse the unique business offerings.
The site displays well in mobile browsers and is compressed to optimize mobile device bandwidth.
Theme
The theme provides an intuitive browsing experience and is created using the Zen theme engine. Zen is a very popular theme framework for Drupal. It is coding standards compliant and features a clean design.
The custom web fonts are a great feature for the graphic design. Kudos to the Google Fonts project for providing thousands of open source fonts to choose from.

- Mailchimp: Integrates the MailChimp newsletter service with Drupal to collect newsletter registration and unsubscribe forms.
- CKeditor: Provides and easy to use inline HTML content editor. Content managers with the tools to create and add content without writing HTML code.
- CKeditor Link: A tool for the CKeditor that provides for the easy creation of inline links to content.
- Google Analytics: Integrates Google Analyitcs as a service to track user traffic, browsing trends and other analytical information.
- Nagios: The status of Drupal is being monitored by the LarsDesigns Drupal site monitoring service. If Drupal needs updates or the server needs attention, the system will send notifications by e-mail.
- Sharethis: Visitors can share information using social media services.
- Webform: An easy tool for creating and managing webforms such as the Contact Us form.
- Image Resize Filter: Resizing the image by HTML value instead of just displaying the image as a different size. Great performance tool and saves the content manager.
- Pathauto: Auto generates URL path alias' and other helpful URL tools.
